For a nominal fee of $150, nondegree-seeking alumni and eligible community members are invited to audit one course per semester; The fee supports the Alumni Association Scholarship, which is awarded each year to one first year student whose parent or grandparent also attended American University.
The Community Audit program is only available to individuals ages 55+ who live in the 20016, 20015, 20008, and 20007 zip codes.
