Join us for a day of clean up and yardwork for The Harbour, a youth housing provider in Cook County for over 50 years. This project will take place at The Harbour's emergency shelter in Des Plaines that provides short-term housing for female-identifying youth, ages 12-20.
We'll clean up the yard, remove yard debris, and build raised plant beds. Wear your AU gear, bring work gloves if you have them, and come give us a hand! If you can't stay the full day, come for just a couple of hours.
Project will happen rain or shine. Lunch and drinks provided. Participants must be over 18.
All registed volunteers will be asked to sign a waiver and a confidentiality agreement. We will provide the shelter's address to registered volunteers prior to April 13.
