AU Eagles are invited back to campus to celebrate their long-standing relationships with each other and American University. Reconnect, relive the memories, and celebrate your lifelong bond with American University, including honoring the newest class celebrating their 50-year milestone, the Class of 1976.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 28 Opening Convocation Ceremony | 10 a.m. | Bender Arena The Class of 1976 is invited to attend this traditional event and welcome the newest class of student Eagles. This event did not exist when you were students at AU; come get a front row seat to see how today's students mark the opening of each school year and celebrate each other! 50th Reunion alumni will be acknowledged from the stage! Limited special seating will be available for the Class of 1976.
50th Reunion Reception | 5 p.m. | AU Sports Center Annex (SCAN), 1st Floor This celebration is for members of the Class of 1976 and their guests.
SATURDAY, AUGUST 29 Golden Eagles Reunion Brunch | 11 a.m. | Constitution Hall, East Campus Commons All Golden Eagles alumni who graduated 50 or more years ago are invited to this event. Members of the Class of 1976 will be recognized as our newest Golden Eagles during their 50th reunion celebration.This celebration is for all Golden Eagles, including those from the Class of 1975 and prior.

Bender Library 50th Anniversary Reception Saturday, August 29 | 2 p.m. | Bender Library Continue the celebration with an exclusive first look at Bender Library’s newly renovated first floor. Hear from University Librarian Jee Davis, enjoy a guided tour of the transformed space, and rediscover the library that's yours to enjoy as an AU alum.
Campus Tour Leaving from Bender Library | 2:30 p.m. Join director of university conference and guest services Kim Araya for a full campus tour. The tour will depart from Bender Library and end back at Constitution Hall, near the East Campus Parking Lot.
